Without even a break, I have worked 17 days in a row. It would not be too awful, but I also task 12-hour shifts… That’s a lot of time to be at work. Ever since the start of September, our Factory has been really working on Christmas toys. We do Christmas toy productions all day plus all night. We have numerous shifts working around the clock, so all children can have these special toys. We already produced at least 2 hundred different toys, over the past few weeks. I am really starting to get fatigued, plus I still have more than four more days in my cycle. After that, I must schedule an appointment to have the gas furnace repaired.
I don’t know what’s wrong with the gas furnace, but it runs plus runs, but never seems to reach the desired temperature on the thermostat. I only have the temperature set to 75 degrees, so my gas furnace should not have a problem maintaining that temperature! For the past few days, I haven’t heard the gas furnace stop at all. I contacted someone from the gas furnace distributor, but they cannot make a repair unless I am home. They cannot even drop by plus diagnose the issue, unless the homeowner is in. I have to wait more than four more days, before I can have the gas furnace issue diagnosed.
I hope they can fix the gas furnace on the same day, because I only have 2 days off work. I’d love to run errands plus do some Christmas shopping on my day off. Working 22 days in a row is difficult, but I’m going to be overjoyed when I receive my fat overtime pay.
