I am employed in sales at a department store. I find my job interesting, despite the few customers who come in to do everything else except make a purchase… When a child steals a bar of candy, it is not fine but everybody understands that; All of us were kids at one time. However, when a mother steals makeup and hides it in her child’s backpack, that’s a different thing. That doesn’t happen a lot and for that I am grateful. What does happen almost always, is customers complaining.. People complain about everything in the store, from the lighting, to the prices, to the temperature.
We have a new commercial Heating and Air Conditioning method which supplies excellent air quality to every department. Everyday, as I enter that store, I can feel the drastic difference between the AC air inside and the hot, severe air I just left outside. So I honestly don’t understand these complaints. One summer time day, a customer went as far as to enter our utility room and try to tamper with our Heating and Air Conditioning unit. It’s a good thing that one of our AC specialists happened to be close by and saw him. That man could have messed up our entire Heating and Air Conditioning system, had he not be stopped in time. What was behind her\\is move? He felt hot and wanted to adjust the temperature control component to a cooler setting, he said. Stupid! No thermostat was even near the utility room.
After that incident, management chose to have a Heating and Air Conditioning method with zone control installed, so that every department could set and handle its own temperature levels. That seems to have worked for those complaints have lessened considerably..
