It’s often comical to me to watch people in Art Museums. They walk around with such a look of concentration and make believe knowledge. Some people even enjoy speculating about what they would have done differently. I find it amusing because somehow we go to the art museum to enjoy the beauty of creativity but as soon as most of the visitors enter the doors they instantly become art critics. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder definitely becomes the theme of the day. Some work maybe difficult to understand the point of view of the artist but it is important to appreciate differences whether we understand them or not. People find passion in many different things it could be recreational or through their employment. Beauty can also be found in science and innovation. Consider the innovation of Geothermal heating and cooling systems. These systems work by using the constant temperature of the ground to heat or cool a space. The earth absorbs the heat from the sun and stays a constant temperature all year. Unlike the air which temperature changes with the hot or cold seasons. So, during the winter the geothermal heat pump absorbs the heat that is in the earth through water that runs through pipes underground, compresses it to a higher temperature to heat your home to the desired temperature. The system works in reverse to cool the home during the summer months. Geothermal heat pumps do not use fossil fuel to heat or cool the air in your home like traditional gas or oil heating and cooling systems.
