Checking my motor

Last Tuesday was a truly odd day, it started off pretty good, however it went downhill right around 11 am. I thought I was going to have a nice, peaceful day. I made my green tea at 5 am, read my meditation verses, and went for my morning stroll.. I made myself a little lunch at 11 am, and that is when my heating and cooling system started to make a very odd noise. It sounded as if metal was grinding against metal; The noise was coming from the outside compressor unit of my heating and cooling system. I panicked from the noise, and rushed over to my temperature control. I shot down my gas furnace because I was afraid that my heating and cooling system was going to explode. I abruptly called up my local Heating and Air Conditioning system repair shop and described the noise to the woman that answered! She told me that it sounded love the motor to my heating and cooling system might be the problem. She sent over a heating and cooling system expert at my request, and he got their relatively fast.  When he arrived at my home, I showed him the unit in question of my heating and cooling system. He evaluated the motor, however it was fine. He added some wd40 to the fan inside the heating and cooling system, turned on my HVAC system, and the noise was gone! Apparently the freezing weather had dried out the bearings. What a relief! My Heating and Air Conditioning system was totally fine! I paid a reasonable fee for the Heating and Air Conditioning system “repair,” and my day went back to normal.
