Is this actually leaking?

It was the middle of summertime and I had my A/C unit on full blast. I had to overcompensate because it wasn’t as cool as it normally is at my usual setting. I looked at some DIY repair tips and scrubbed up the outdoor condenser.  I also made sure there was a fresh air filter installed. Even with putting in that work myself, it was still too hot even though my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system was going all the time. I thought this would cost a fortune on the utility bill and I wasn’t even getting sufficient cooling. I called the local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company down the road and they sent out a specialist instantly. I let him know the repair history of my system and he checked out everything. When he was through, he diagnosed the problem as being a refrigerant leak. He explained that he would repair the leak promptly and then refill the lost refrigerant. He said that he would also clean the HVAC duct to make sure everything is running efficiently. Hopefully doing this would make the system more efficient and save me on utility costs, too. He handled the task just as He said he would. Our air conditioning was working fantastically after that. I was particularly grateful to this nice Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C technician for coming through for me. I was a little concerned that our system was too old and I’d have to do a complete overhaul soon. I asked the specialist about that and he said he thought the method should last few more good years. I was glad to hear it and I was now enjoying cooling and efficiency in our system. I sure was glad I called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist because I don’t think I would have discovered that leak on my own. I absolutely wouldn’t have and knowledge on how to repair it even if I did! Some things must be left to those in the business.
